The S2 W is ready for her close-up! This new wider-waisted park-oriented ski's ladies specific look is offset with bomb proof durability and a modern shape for freeride versatility and float. The JAS (Jib Absorption System) provides shock absorption and durability for greasing rails, buttering boxes and afterbanging out. With a 90mm waist, ladies get a wider platform for sliding rails and a more stable landing pad for landing big hits. LE PANT ROSSIGNOL PAS COMME LES AUTRES ... Intégrer un harnais d'escalade à un pantalon de ski, l'idée semblait osée. Rossignol l'a fait pour la sécurité des skieurs et freeriders. Une idée de guide Snowlegend ! L'idée a germé dans l'esprit d'Anne Bauvois, l'une des rares femme guide de haute montagne en France. "Je travaillais à La Grave avec des clients et chaque matin on devait mettre nos baudriers, c'était un vrai sac de noeuds ! Je me suis demandée à ce moment si on ne pouvait pas intégrer directement le harnais au pantalon ..." Anne aime les itinéraires sauvages et les expéditions en totale autonomie comme au Pakistan n'est pas du genre à abandonner une idée. Têtue ? Plutôt persévérante et imaginative. Au fil des multiples courses à La Grave, le projet muri. Car au pied de La Meije, sur les glaciers pas si dociles que ça, le ski de freeride est technique: rappels, crevasses, la montagne nous tolère L'argument massue est celui-ci : grâce au Harness pant, en cas de pépin, tous les skieurs évoluant sur glacier n'ont pas besoin de penser en plus de tout l'équipement à un baudrier, ils sont naturellement équipés pour être sortis d'une crevasse. Concrètement, un des harnais les plus léger du marché a été sélectionné. La question était : comment l'intégrer au pantalon afin de respecter les normes, le confort obligatoire, la praticité ? La gestation du pantalon harnais a été minutieuse mais le résultat est là : un produit cohérent, efficace, discret, qui assure la sécurité de tout un chacun. Cerise sur le gâteau, le harnais presque invisible est protégé des UV, des frottements et donc des déchirures. Le tout est lavable car le matériau, le polyamide supporte bien l'opération. Si vous avez la chance de skier l'une de ces journées exceptionnelles à La Grave, celles qui comptent des grandes courbes dans cinquante centimètres de neige fraîche, des dénivelés de + 2000m et de bonnes ambiances couloirs, vous saurez que le Harness Pant est née ici. La culture Rossignol vient de là, de la pente, des grands espaces. Anne Bauvois a le sourire, le Harness Pant respecte l'idée qu'elle se fait du produit idéal en montagne : simple - fonctionnel - léger.
