The high-altitude ski area of the Meije, Râteau and La Girose glaciers is an off-piste paradise, extremely vast and world-renowned. It includes many risky areas without any marked trails. The most beautiful descents, with elevation differences ranging from 1,800 to 2,400 meters, start at an altitude of 3,600 or 3,200 meters on glacier areas.
The UIAGM Snowlegend mountain guides apply all safety procedures to help you discover the best freeriding of the day while keeping in mind to share their passion for high mountains with you. They stay constantly informed of snow conditions (quality and snow science) on all routes and how they evolve throughout the season.
With quality and safety in mind, Snowlegend prefers to guide groups of no more than 4 to 5 riders for the most technical couloirs and routes. However, groups of 6 riders can be formed for classic routes (Vallons de La Meije, Vallons de Chancel, or Vallons de La Selle).

Very good value for money; it is customary to invite the guide for lunch, thank you in advance.
