Join ski or snowboard group in La Grave - The mecca of freeride International

You dream of discovering La Grave - the Freeride mecca or you want to ski some itineraries that require abseiling or good knowledge of the local terrain, and you are alone or in a two or three? No problem, welcome to Snowlegend’s join a ski or snowboard group. Every morning, our guides head up the mountain with 3, 4 or 5 clients (group MAXI 5 riders). Depending on your level, your physical condition or your language, we will put you in a small group with others that share the same objectives as you. And if you ever feel uncomfortable, we will do our best to put you in another group.
The idea is to listen to you and form a group by bringing together people who have similar goals for the day, such as enjoying the panorama, progressing freeride skills, as well as strong riders in search of adrenaline and thrills ... And you benefit from good prices due to being in a group. Snowlegend has been established at the foot of La Meije since 1993. Our guides know the off-piste area like the back of their hands. They will select descents so that you can find the best snow of the moment and have fun whether it is skiing, ski touring, snowboarding or split-boarding. For those who wish, they will give you precious advice to progress with confidence on the unmarked, unsecured and ungroomed terrain of La Grave. These security pros are highly competent to take you both on the glaciers and in the couloirs and will do everything to ensure that you leave with a smile ... and that you come back. 70% of our clientele is made up of loyal customers. More than a simple day of skiing in the high mountains, our goal is for you to have a great time. Each year, we have riders who come from more than 45 different countries and this mix of mountain lovers is a rich source of discussions and laughter. Guaranteed atmosphere.
The Snowlegend chalet rents and sells freeride skis, touring skis, snowboards and splitboards at the cutting edge of technology. You can stay for one day or as many as you wish. This will be an opportunity to meet people and become friends with other skiing, snowboarding and mountain fans. Sharing sessions on the powder-covered slopes of La Meije is an addictive pleasure. You quickly get a taste for it.
For quality and safety, Snowlegend prefer to guide groups of maximum 5 riders. For people wishing to join a group with the same technical level, aims, fitness and smile.It is possible to join between 1 in 4 groups a day during all winter. For that purpose, we ask you to give your level in ski or snowboard and your freeride experience. See you soon

* Loan of Rossignol Freeride Helmet (it’s better to wear one), size XS, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, light & comfortable.
* Loan of harness (compulsory for riding on the glacier area) and very useful for abseiling!
* Possible to leave your gear in the Snowlegend chalet and dry your boots.
